Weapon Tutorial for Portfolio

SOON...

Hi everyone,

After many years of doing weapons for my portfolio and also working for games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty games and many more I always wanted to do a tutorial showcasing my workflow of creating high poly, low poly, uv's, bake, textures and rendering for a portfolio piece.

Since many of you asked when I will do it... soon will be ready. So here is what you will get:

Chapter 1 - High poly

We will be starting from a rough blockout in Plasticity, creating the high poly and we will be sending that in Zbrush for Dynamesh - Polish process so we can get all the hard edges smooth.

Duration - 18 hours

Chapter 2 - Low poly

Sending all objects from Plasticity to Pixyz for low poly generation and importing in 3ds Max for optimization. We will not go to low in optimization since this will be a portfolio piece.

Duration - 8 hours

Chapter 3 - Uv's

We will do the unwrapping and packing using 3ds Max and RizomUv

Duration - 6 hours

Chapter 4 - Baking

For the bakes we will be using 3ds Max to prepare the high poly and low poly for export and Marmoset Toolbag to generate our maps.

Normal Map, AO, Curvature, etc...

Duration - 1 hour

Chapter 5 - Texturing - in progress

Chapter 6 - Rendering...soon

You can also see how to troubleshoot any problems that may happen during the tutorial.

Everything is explained with voice but keep in mind this will be an intermediate to advance tutorial.

While I do explain what I do, I will be using a lot of shortcuts so you need to have some knowledge using those programs.

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them on my Discord Server

Thanks!
